Explore Top 6 Travel Ideas for Upcoming Long Weekends

Recently, a trend of long weekend trips has been developed and therefore it is difficult to find accommodation in such a short term. That’s why I advise you on a number of destinations where you can still find a cute stay for a few nights, away from all your worries.

I have explain the top 6 options for Travel Ideas for Upcoming Long Weekends India, These destinations offser unforgettable knowledges and there is a very high chance that somewhere to live at these destinations may still be available, even though the holidays are so close.

Hot Air Balloon Ride in Hampi

1) Stay on the Hippie Side of Hampi

A destination dotted with pebbles and ruins, Hampi is a unique place close to Bangalore. Most tourists go to the famous destinations like Coorg, Chikmagalur, Ooty, Goa and others. But Hampi remains an attractive alternative for a certain group of people. Hampi Town, however, can be busy for the long weekend. Therefore, I recommend visiting Anegundi village, 20 km away from Hampi. There are plenty of cottages here and even if you arrive without prior booking, some local family will be willing to host you. You may find that the accommodations in Anegundi are not luxurious, but they certainly have a unique charm. During your stay in Anegundi you can visit the Anjaneya Hill, Durga Temple and Kishkindha, the peninsula. There are plenty of restaurants near Tungabhadra, 7 km from Anegundi, where you can treat delicious food and relax on their comfortable mattresses and pillows. Yes! There are no tables at these restaurants.

2) Go on an exploration tree in Krishnagiri

Krishnagiri is another destination that has been hidden because of the other well-known destinations. This fantastic destination is very close to the three states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Various languages, culture and landscapes are a stone’s throw away! Krishnagiri is not a well-known destination and therefore the number of accommodations is also less. But if you are willing to stay in tents and explore some camping opportunities, Krishnagiri can offer a surreal experience. The main attraction near Krishnagiri is a hilltop where you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes of all three states; Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. You can also plan a day trip in Rayakottai Fort, located 35 km from Krishnagiri. A dive in the Krishnagiri dam can be a fulfilling experience. In addition to these attractions, there are numerous hiking opportunities around Krishnagiri. As a small village, you can experience the rustic countryside of Tamil Nadu.

Kumarakom and Alleppey Resorts

3) Admire the tranquility of Backwaters in Kumarakom

A road expedition to Kumarakom may not be imaginable due to the distance of 588 km from Bangalore. However, Kumarakom is easily accessible by train and you can book a tatkal ticket to Kottayam. From here you can take a car or taxi and reach Kumarakom. Kottayam Railway Station is also the nearest station to Sabarimala Temple, a well-known pilgrimage destination in South India. So, if you find the train too busy do not worry, most of them are planning for Sabarimala Temple. Once you reach Kumarakom you will find peaceful landscapes and very few houseboats running on the waters and fighting the thick blanket floating fauna. An evening Shikara ride in the Kumarakom backwaters extends an impressive glimpse of orange and pink dusk color in the sky, created by the Sun setting. In Kerala, Alleppey is famous for its backwaters. So, let the crowd go there while relaxing in a Shikara, enjoy your time with the purest nature and silence!

Tempo Travellers Manali

4) Fruit Fruit from Orchards In Fagu

What destinations do you think about thinking about the hills in Delhi? Shimla? Manali? Or Nainital? Well, besides these popular destinations, there are a lot of nice villages, not so far from the main destinations, but just as beautiful. Fagu is such an alternative to Shimla. Located in the vicinity of Shimla, Fagu is best known for the fruit trees. There are experience tours that pass you through the whole process of conservation of the orchards and producing sufficient products. Due to the less popularity of Fagu compared to Shimla or Manali, there are still home stays here!

5) Find Unique Birds At Pangot & Kilbury Bird Sanctuary

As Fagu is about Shimla, Pangot is for Nainital. Located at a distance of only 17 km from Nainital, Pangot is a paradise for birdwatching. There are very few accommodations available in Pangot, but because Nainital is famous compared to Pangot, there is a great possibility that a stay in Pangot will be available for long weekend. The unique charm of Pangot is an impressive variety of bird species that can be seen here. With over 250 species of birds housed in the Pangot Forest, a birdwatcher will have a moment of gala here!

6) Revel In The Royalty Of Jaipur

Why Jaipur? Is not it a famous destination? Is the accommodation not full? On the contrary, there are many possibilities to stay in Jaipur. The number of hostels in Jaipur is increasing in the pink city. In fact, many hostel chains begin in Jaipur between the international crowd and the facility of establishing a hostel. No matter how busy the city of Jaipur is, you can always find a bed in one of the many hostels in Jaipur. However, you should prefer the luxury if you want to go to Jaipur for this long weekend. But there are some hostel beds waiting for you and your friends to enjoy a long weekend.

9 tips for having the best vacation, according to a travel agent Booking

Know when to Travel Booking

As Niamh Walsh states, “While last minute offers can be great, it does not guarantee that you will find a deal that will save you a lot of money.” For long-haul flights, she advises to book for two to four months; For shorter trips, she says that you can look closer to the date of travel and advise to monitor airline sales, as airlines are concerned about filling all seats. Also note that the day of your flight may affect the cost, as midweek flights are usually cheaper than weekend companions.

Look around for flights

It is time to familiarize yourself with the 24-hour rule. “Many airlines allow you to cancel or change airline tickets within 24 hours of purchase,” explains Walsh. So the next time you book your flight, have a last minute check before you get your ticket because you might find a better option!

Get the best deal

Most of us are familiar with deal-finder platforms, and using one can definitely help you get the most out of your budget. As Walsh explains, HolidayPirates has a special editing team that manually searches the Internet for the best deals based on the time you want to travel, the type of experience you want and even the special part of the holiday you want by using algorithms. Make an appointment, whether it’s a hotel, flight or whole holiday package. “But you can also use other platforms like Kayak, Hotels.com and LastMinute.com.

For the trip Pack Smart

Now that your holiday has been booked and approaches the departure date, it may be time to start thinking about packaging. Deciding on what to take – or not to take – on vacation can be a bit challenging, and many of us are guilty of the never-ever-wearing-this-but-maybe-needed-mentality (including me). If you are doing a long weekend, it would be worth learning how to get light; and if you’re away for a week or so, Walsh has a few tricks that will make your packaging more efficient. “Keep your shoes in a plastic bag or in a shower cap (available from most hotels), to prevent them from making your clothes dirty or smelly,” she explains. “Grab two tops for each pair of bottoms: this prevents you from going too much because we are more likely to wear bottoms than tops. Finally, instead of taking a whole guide, just take photos of the pages you need have on your phone to save the valuable space! “

Use Your Air Miles

As stated by Walsh, “Many credit cards (like American Express) contain free air miles when you sign up.” Although you can use them to book your flight, her advice is to use them on cab upgrades, as these types of flights are much more reasonable when you spend miles in comparison to the full rate. Flying business class at an economics price? We would not say no.

Smooth Security

Security can take a very long time, but there are ways to make things more beautiful – and all you have to do is pre-prepared. “If you have a tablet or laptop with you, make sure it’s easily accessible and ready to put on a tray during security checks,” explains Walsh. “Make sure all your liquids are packed in a transparent bag and your bag is packed neatly. At some point or more, we will probably have checked their bag so it’s neat it’s easier to close the weather!”

Reach Your Hotel Quickly

Before flying, make sure you are the best way to get from the airport to your hotel or rented accommodation. If you need a taxi, Walsh recommends that you simply “go to the departure area of the airport to avoid queues.” To save money, she also proposes “sharing tariffs with other travelers” or using the shuttle services available at many airports.

Research Activities

If you are planning to go to a big city, Walsh recommends that you do some research. “For example, in New York and Amsterdam, you offer free walks that show you lots of places. Everywhere in cities like Paris, which has many museums, it’s cheaper to get a city road, which has more than 60 popular attractions within the city.” This not only saves you time, but also saves money!

Avoid the Dreaded jet lag

Although there are some incredible destinations that do not require your body to adapt to a new time zone, it may not always be the jet lag. Having said that, there are some things you can do to limit its effects. “On the day you travel, it’s a good idea to start setting up your phone or the time of destination you’re traveling to get in the psychological view of that time zone,” explains Walsh out. “Once you’re on board your flight, try to stay hydrating, as this helps you feel more refreshed when landing. If you arrive at your destination in the evening, it’s a good idea to wake up in flight but if you arrive in the morning, try to make sure you have slept, adjusting your body to the time zone and reducing the effect of jet lag. ‘ And here are more easy ways to minimize jet radius.

A small museum at the entrance gate shows lists of convicts, pictures and ugly torture devices. This prison consists of seven wings emanating from a central tower. The criminal settlement settled here by the British after the First Independence War in 1857 was the beginning of the painful story of the massive and terrible prison on the Viper Island, followed by cellular prison. Prison is now a pilgrimage for all freedom that loves people, preserved as a sanctuary to testify to those who were killed and killed here and there.

travel to India at Slow down

2. Slow Down in India

Many people try to pack too much when visiting India or holiday vacation in India. To get the most out of your trip, focus on a few places instead of trying as much as possible. Seeing a place slowly can be rewarding more than seeing many places, but not having time to appreciate one of them. Spend a few days in one place and you will less emphasize, get a better understanding of where you are, and more time to get to know the people you meet.

Escape the hustle and bustle in India

3. Escape The Hustle And Bustle In India

With over one billion inhabitants, many parts of India are definitely busy. The hustle and bustle can be fun, especially if there is a festival in the city, but it is easy to reach the saturation point. Fortunately, India has many peaceful retreats, so make a relaxing flight in your trip. To charge your batteries, spend a few days or weeks in a city followed by a few days or weeks in the countryside or in a small city. For inner (and outer) peace, head south to Kerala’s backwaters and beaches, or to India’s fascinating hill stations or the Tibetan influenced Himalayan valleys in Ladakh, Sikkim tours and Himachal Pradesh.

Stay healthy in India

4. Stay Healthy Vacation in India

Nobody wants to get sick, especially if you’re on a shorter trip, so you pay steps to avoid a dodgy inch. Never drink tap water, and turn off the food that may have washed it. Precaution, avoid ice cream, ice cream, and salads and fruit that you have not peeled. Have your stomach acclimatized for a couple of days to launch in a street party, and when you buy street food, do a mental assessment of the standards of cleanliness. Are the owners prepared fresh or have they been there for a while? Is the stool busy with many customers or just attracting flies?

Many travelers go vegetarian while in India, and it’s not a bad idea, as a dodgy piece of meat will hurt you much more than undergone vegetables. Plus, many Indians are vegetarian, so the country is perhaps the world’s most amazing choice of vegetarian food. If you eat meat, make sure it is well cooked and stay at the stalls and restaurants that are full of locals (the best barometer for hygienic standards).

If you’re on the road, you may find that you need less than sanitary toilets, but they do not have to have health risks. Toilet paper is rarely provided, but the left and right pitcher method chosen by many locals can be good if you wear soap so you can wash your hands afterwards. Anti-bacterial wipes and anti-bacterial gel are also handy to clean in your daybag for a last minute before eating with your fingers.

Keep cool in India

5. Keep Cool  Holiday in India

In addition to its beauty and wonder, India has a frequently earned reputation for touts, scams and other fuss. There are ways to reduce the chances of overload or fraud, but you will have a few meetings with scammers on your journey. So keep your mind on yourself and remember that offers that seem too good to be true are usually. Be especially careful with taxi drivers and riders driving insistence that you go to specific hotels, shops or travel agencies – the costs of their commission will be added to your account.

The only important advice for every India first timer is to stay calm no matter what. Frustrations are easy to cook in India, and being able to control them, take a deep breath and go further, it’s important to enjoy your time here. If you get stress about losing some money or scam, take a moment to consider how much you’ve really lost and whether it’s worth focusing on.

Go out now and claim your piece of the subcontinent!

Rich to the Wagah Border, Amritsar

Travel to the Wagah Border, Amritsar at Beautiful  Way

It was a hot sunny afternoon in Amritsar But that was not terrifying for the hundreds of people who were aiming at the Wagah Border to lower the flagship ceremony. And I was one of them. The ceremony is a daily military exercise, followed by the Border Security Force (BSF) and Pakistan Rangers, since 1959.

The rush was wicked, to say the least. It was almost as if the government decided to give away a daily visa to visit Pakistan. Two violent young ladies trying to force their way into one of the gates were removed by security personnel. They later got another lord, who was a retired army officer. “They are bloody rude!”, Muttered one of the girls. Then the lord said, almost defending the actions of the security personnel; “Do not talk like that. That’s their duty. “Fifteen minutes later, the same officer was expelled by security officials in exactly the same way, but one cannot really blame them. It’s not easy to manage crowds in such large numbers.

The crowd included elderly, foreign nationals, toddlers in tow and photography lovers, including myself who transported large cameras and did not cause them to drag them with the crowd. There was pushing, blunting the feet, pushing the gates open and what not! But in all this crazy, I did not even walk back a person or give up the hope to see the ceremony. As I walked with the crowd to the border, I wondered how so many people pulled to Wagah. Love for the country, patriotism, curiosity or sensation? I really do not know what it is or maybe it’s all these reasons. But for me the reason was fascination. Fascination to see exactly what is going on at the border, fascination to see how it is across the border, to see “those” people, to see the other side of us.

Benazir Bhutto once said, “There is a little India in every Pakistani and a little Pakistan in every Indian.” And this is exactly why I call Pakistan on the other side of us. What are India and Paksitan? One country was separated years ago on paper and by geographical boundaries, but perhaps not in the mind. And so much in common between the two sides: culture, language, food, music, cricket and the passion that they love and hate Each other it’s almost impossible to solve them. Almost like the current, unlikely possibility that the two countries reach agreement on peaceful living together.

From Bollywood songs like ‘Chak de India’ and ‘Suno gaur’s duniya walon’ play on the background of shouts of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and ‘Hindustan Zindabad’; Seeing people who are on the other side and wondering what’s going to happen in their minds and hearts, to the powerful show that is being set up by the BSF and Pakistan Rangers. The experience in Wagah is undoubtedly engaging. But for me, the cherry on the cake was the moment that the flags of both India and Pakistan were reduced to diagonal unison. It’s a beautiful face indeed, a face that generates the hope. So after our very short and conscious visit to Amritsar, it was back to Delhi on the overnight train.

Same Day Agra Tour By Car

Taj Mahal, Agra

Agra

Agra - Jaipur

Top 10 Places To Visit In The World Before You Die - Taj Mahal: Timeless Wonder

Enjoys the bountiful moment’s  “Discovering the United Arab Emirates” is an opportunity to discover these cities whose hearts are beating to the rhythm of excess, but also to see those who remain attached to the traditions and to tread the mysterious desert.

What is the Exact Size of the Desert in UAE

What is the exact size of the desert?” Asks a traveler to our Indian driver? With a smile and a shrug of his shoulders, he evades the question. In a few words of English, he managed to make the passenger understand that he would have to ask the guide.

“Smaller day by day,” said a passenger in an amused tone. If the reply smiles, it nevertheless reflects the truth. In front of this display of architectural delusions, the desert gradually gives way to its place.

Abra Dock in Bur Dubai

From the past to the future without a transition

This is one of the things that we see happening in the Persian Gulf aboard the MSC ship. The discovery of oil in 1958 not only metamorphosed the landscape of the region but upset the life of the Emirati. While these modest fishing villages were transformed into megacities in the heart of a green oasis, nomads became sedentary prosperous, operating lucrative businesses and living in pretty houses by the sea.

During holidays or during the weekend, our guides explain to us, these new rich people cram their family in their 4 X 4 and go to plant their tent … in the desert! A kind of return to the roots.

Impeccably dressed in the “dishdaha” (long white dress, white cap and double black crown), the traditional costume of the gulf inhabitants, the Emirati move large cars, usually black, and are very inaccessible. Their women are discreet and it is not uncommon to meet them wearing a mask of cardboard, leather or even gold, covering the eyebrows, the nose and the mouth.

Despite one of the most modern lifestyles in the world, ancestral traditions are still very present. Thus, alcohol is prohibited (only found in restaurants in large hotels) and the laws are strict: theft is severely punished, begging is not tolerated and workers from India, Pakistan, The Philippines or elsewhere must work if they want to stay in the country.

If these instructions seem to be of a different age, they do not prevent foreigners from flocking in search of a job and above all they assure a great safety to the tourists who are never afraid to walk in the streets or the Metro at any time of the day.

For some visitors, Dubai and Abu Dhabi are nothing more than the new Las Vegas, for others it is a display of wealth of bad taste, while many see it as a mega-city to the imagination Unbridled and a vision of the future.

The “Discovering the United Arab Emirates” cruise makes a stopover in Abu Dhabi, whose buildings boldly compete with Dubai, in Muscat, the white capital of the Sultanate of Oman which has modernized with a human dimension, and In two commercial ports, Khor Al Fakkan (UAE) and Khasab (Oman).

From these, excursions lead to the emirate of Fujairah, still anchored in tradition, but also to the golden dunes of the desert, beaches, mountains and reserves protecting threatened species.

Few days, the days at sea allow enjoying the many installations of the ship, to bask in the sun at the edge of the pools or, if luck smiles us, to be seduced by dolphins dancing or the incredible ballet of small boats loaded big bales.

The latter skilfully sneak, at dawn or dusk, between the huge commercial cargo ships, which are hundreds in the Strait of Hormuz. (Information later taken from a guide, this would be smugglers risking every day their lives to transport their goods to Iran …)

On the morning of the disembarkation, setting foot again on the ground of Dubai, one thinks that one will have to return. This short incursion into this rapidly changing part of the world has merely aroused our curiosity.

Back home, it is with a new interest that we will be interested in newsletters announcing the start of incredible museums, daring amusement parks and even a canal that cranes Are already busy digging in order to connect, as in Venice, the main attractions of the city of Dubai.
